‘Lux’ Toothbrushes For Apriori

Premium dental care brand Apriori approached Solve3D in 2015 to turn their concept for a luxury toothbrush into reality.

The brief for both brush and stand required engineering development to satisfy exacting real world environments. The first criteria was to specify durable materials that would retain the aesthetic of beauty, not just in a bathroom environment, but also a sea environment as these pieces would be used on Luxury Yachts. We then had to engineer a simple, durable, hygienic and pleasing method to eject the disposable heads as well as resolve the packaging and presentation of the product, and finally, source and set up production.

In addition to prototyping Solve3D undertook the initial assembly of production units in order to optimise processes and set quality standards, before handing over to artisan finishers and assemblers for full production.
