Ceramic Study for London Design Consultancy, The Division

The Division’s David Tonge invited Solve3D to build a series of prototypes for a range of cafe-style ceramics. We have worked with David and Nicole for a number of years on some very enjoyable projects.

The Division makes no apology for embracing Japanese culture, the heritage of craftsmanship and ‘the maker’ runs strongly through every piece of their work. The following images are the culmination of two years of development through several iterations. The tea pot incorporates a timer that is set to achieve the perfect brew. The sugar spoon and tray were designed to form a complete, harmonised set.
